Providing RV Roof Coatings in North Florida

David's Permanent Coatings, Inc. is a locally owned and operated company and the owner, David Adair, is a life time resident of Green Cove Springs, FL.  David started in the specialty coating business about 15 years ago in Orange Park, FL. The business has been at it's Green Cove Springs location for the last 7 years.

David's Permanent Coatings, Inc. is the only coating specialist in the state of Florida who uses DOW pure polyureas with 600% elongation.  By using his extensive knowledge of DOW products, David saw an excellent alternative roof coating for RV owners from the traditional EPDM "Rubber Roof"  that has been on the market since the early 1980s. This coating is also used on other roofs found on RVs of all styles. This roof is applied to RVs with rubber, aluiminum, TPO and fiberglass roofs. With the advances in DOW polymers, DOW offers the latest in industrial strength coatings. This sprayed on roof coating provides a super tough, flexible, waterproof barrier to extend the life of RV roofs.

Unlike traditional EPDM, David's Permanent Coatings, Inc., provides a sprayed, seamless coating. EPDM roofs are actually constructed of a thin sheet which is rolled on and then "glued" to the RV roof.  The coating used by David's Permanent Coatings, Inc. is approximately over 130 times thicker than the standard EPDM or liquid roof sealant. Our sprayed on roof is a stronger and thicker material so it adds structural strength and added insulation to your RV.  This unique DOW coating also adheres to the joints around vents and seams in the roof and removes the need to inspect your roof and re caulk all joints.  This sprayed
coating is so strong you cannot puncture it using a screwdriver and hammer. This takes away any worries about tree branches causing tears and starting a leak.

Some other differences between EPDM or "Rubber Roofs" and the coating provided at David's Permanent Coatings, Inc. are:
                    EPDM Roofs:
                      1. Oxidizes over time and cause white chalk like trails down the sides of your RV.

                   2. The rolled sheet loses thickness every year, especially when exposed to harsh sunlight or extreme temperatures.

                 3. Typical EPDM coatings can take over 10 days to cure and be structurally unsound if temperature drops below 70 degrees or there is moisture in the air.

                     4.   Over time EPDM and liquid roof coatings shrink, causing cracks and leaks.

David's Permanent Coatings, Inc. RV Roof Coating

Very minimal oxidation for a RV roof that will perform for 20 years or more.
This coating is totally cured in 24 hours and can be walked on in 5 minutes.
Temperature and moisture do not effect the application or curing process.
Coating does not shrink or crack over time.

David's Permanent Coatings, Inc. has applied roofs to RVs from all over the country. Customers have come from as far as Texas and Indianna. We take appointments as far out as a year because we understand many of our customers travel and need to make arrangements.
